KENNETH KNUTE SHIZUO OKITA Age 85, of Waipahu, HI, passed away February 9, 2014 in Honolulu. Born June 25, 1928 in Waipahu, HI. Kenneth was retired from Hawaii Sugar Planters Assoc. He was active in the baseball community. He is survived by wife, Jean Okita; daughters, Colette (Miles) Kinoshita, Jill Okita; brother, Thomas Uyeno; sisters, Doris Igarashi, Sister Mary Vianney, Jean (Frank) Murakawa, Nora (Stanley) Ginoza; 2 grand- children; sister-in-law, Setsuko Uyeno. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday (March 22) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Memorial Service 10:30 a.m.
