WILLIAM H. ALAMEIDAWILLIAM H. ALAMEIDA Peacefully died on March 7 at Straub Hospital with family at his side. He was born on April 7, 1926 in Honolulu. After graduating from high school in Honolulu, he was drafted into the U.S. Army to serve in World War II. Bill loved the military and made a career in the Armed Services, where he and his family traveled the world. After 21 years, he retired from the U.S. Air Force and furthered his career In the private sector. He was a true "people person"; his vibrant, gentle personality shined through in all of his endeavors. He devoted his life to family, his greatest enjoyment, always putting them first. We will forever miss Bill's good nature, warm smile and handshake, wonderful wit and unconditional love for those he cared for most. He touched the lives of many with his easy going, caring and unselfish ways. Bill is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of 67 years, and their three children: Darlene Strickland, Pamela Princenthal, and Will Alameida, Jr., their predeceased daughter, Roslyn Van Zyle. Also survived by three grand children; Joshua Strickland, Dustin Salcido and Lindsey Princenthal, great- grand-daughter; Alia Rose, son in law's; Daniel Van Zyle and Jason Princenthal. Services on Saturday, March 29, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hawaii Kai. Visitation at 10:30AM, Mass at 11:00AM. Aloha Attire.
