George H. Tanahara, 75, of Honolulu, a retired welder for Industrial Welding Inc. and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by son Shawn, daughters Lynn Higa and April Shields, brothers Steve and Herbert, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
