DORSEY RAY BRADY April 20, 1942 - March 15, 2014 Dorsey Ray Brady, 71, passed away on Saturday, March 15, at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on April 20, 1942 in Long Beach, California and adopted by Arnold Ray Brady and Dora Della (Helzer) Brady. Dorsey grew up in Seal Beach, CA and graduated from Huntington Beach Union High School in 1959. After high school he attended college at UCLA and then joined the Marines. Dorsey began working for the hospitality industry while in college and spent over 45 years doing what he loved for companies like Inter-Island Resorts, Del Webb, Tollman Hundley Hotels and Outrigger Hotels & Resorts. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Lai Kuen (Helen) Brady, his daughters, Diana (Brett) Hindi and Dawn (Doug) Adams and his son, Dane (Trish) Brady and 6 grandchildren; stepdaughter Stephanie Anderson and 4 grandaughters and stepson, John (Jackie) Anderson. A memorial service & ash scattering will be held at 5:30pm on Sunday, March 30th aboard the Kahala Kai out of Kewalo Basin.
