Satoru "Sa" Kaya, 97, of Honolulu, a retired painter, died at home. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Ethel Y., son Leslie S., daughter Susan R., sisters Beatrice Muranaka and Doris Akutagawa, and a grandchild. Private services.
