Stanley Ellison Heggland Jr., 81, of Hilo, a retired Army sergeant major, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland. He is survived by sons Geoffrey, Christopher, Haugesund M.T. and Gregory; daughters Diana and Lehuanani Heggland, and Windy Arriaga; and brother Donald. Private services.
