Robert Arucan "Da Colonel" Cabasug, 62, of Mililani, a retired Army lieutenant colonel and engineer division head at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died in Mililani. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Joyce C. "Jojo"; sons Scott VonBrutt, and Jason and Jonathan Cabasug; daughters Christine Alvarez and Marcy Nicolas; brothers Alan and Virgilio; sisters Susan Esteban and Nita Manaar Pac; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Program: 11:15 a.m. Services at noon. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
