73Michael Kalama Evans, 59, of Hilo, a contractor, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Tina F.; sons Michael K. Jr. and Nainoa Evans, and Kaltin Fujiwara-Evans; daughters Angela, Micole and Mina Evans, Marcel Thomas and Mandi Komatsu; father James; brothers Jim, George and Kaleo; sisters Puanani, Sheila and Malia Evans, Anna Ater, Blossom Johnston, Mahealani Edwards and Loke Evans-Bautista; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire.
