72Ruth Hatsuko Matsuda, 99, of Kaimuki, a retired marketing department supervisor for Sears Roebuck & Co., died in St. Francis Hospice. She was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Albert S. and Thomas K.; daughters Geraldine Y. Uesugi, Bessie F. Ogawa, Frances C. Ishikawa, Esther M. Higa and Elaine S. Matsuda; brothers Hideo, Charles and Harry Higa; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Private services.
