Takaichi "Ralph" Fujita, 94, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter and an Army veteran who served in the 1,399th Engineer Battalion during World War II, died at home. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He is survived by daughter Marlene M. Hiraoka, brother Susumu, sister Kiyomi Wakabayashi and two grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m.
