A retired high voltage electrician foreman with 30 years of service at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He is survived by wife, Josephine C. Academia; sons, Rodrigo "Rod" Academia, Jr., Rodney Academia; daughters, Jane T. (Herman) Aquiningoc of TX, Jo Ann (John) Ferreira of CA, Lori Ann (John) Ruane, Darlene Doquisa, Elena Ogata & Glen Luecke, Emelita Martinez of Philippines; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchilden; brothers, Apolinario Academia, Ludivico Academia; sisters, Rosalina Lacamiento, Josefina Calamaan of CA, Evangeline Dela Cruz. Visitation 8:30 a.m. Friday (April 11) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Prayer Service 10:00 a.m. Burial 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
