Brandon F. CayetanoBrandon F. Cayetano, 55, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2014 at Straub Hospital. Born on December 08, 1958, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Brandon spent his early childhood in Kalihi and at age 5, moved to Los Angeles with his family. He returned to Hawaii in 1971 and attended King Intermediate School. He later enrolled at Damien Memorial High School where he was an honor roll student and senior class president. He graduated in 1976. An entrepreneur at heart, in 1983, Brandon created T.A.G. (Tactical Air-Games of Hawaii) in Waimanalo and quickly established himself as a pioneer in Hawaii's paintball industry. Brandon dedicated nearly 30 years to the sport and was considered a "Living Legend" in the paintball community. In 2001, Brandon formed Hawaii All-Star Paintball & Airsoft Games which is frequented by many local and mainland players of all ages. Cognizant of the world and social issues, Brandon often raised money for Autism Hawaii, the Hawaii Food Bank and other local charities. Brandon was a true friend as it was his natural inclination to think of others and help those in need. An intelligent free spirit, Brandon was a great singer, a karaoke king, a connoisseur of ketchup and clever prankster. He lived each day with fun and brought laughter and love to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. He is survived by his father, former Governor Ben Cayetano; his mother, Lorraine G. Cayetano; sisters, Janeen Cayetano and Samantha Cayetano; step-mother Vicky Cayetano; step-sister Marissa (John) Ross, step-brother William (Erika) Cayetano; grandmother, Mary Gueco; Uncles Ken and Ron; Uncles Randy (Sue), Wayne (Claudia), Glenn (Sari) and families; Aunts Jean (John), Virgie (Norris), Shirley, Jasmine and families; grand-aunts Rachel Willing and Violet Ayers; Uncle Douglas Willing and Aunts Charlene, Charlotte and Nani and families; Uncles Patrick (Puni), Jack Jr. (Elsie) Ayers and families and Stacie Ayers; nephew Micah (Krissy) Ancheta, grand-niece, Makylah Ancheta, grand-nephew, Kyson Ancheta; Uncle Michael & Aunty Estelle Green; Uncles Godfrey (Vivian) and Gaylord Ortiz; Aunty Veronica (Ed) Buck and families; Uncle Kamaki and Aunty Aggie and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held on April 19, 2014 at 10:30 am at Nuuanu Memorial Park, 2233 Nuuanu Ave., Honolulu, Hawaii 96817. Aloha attire and paintball uniforms are welcome.
