Eugene Eishin Higa, 89, of Honolulu, a baker and an Army veteran, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Carole K.; daughters Leatrice M. LaDouceur, and Linda K. and Jeanette E. Chang; brothers Jack E. and George H. Higa; sisters Toshiko "Toshi" Higa, Gail A. Jo and May S. Oda; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
