He is survived by wife Hoa Thi Ho; son Vu Anh; daughter Minh Ngoc, stepsons Chau and Achau Nguyen; stepdaughters Hong Nguyen-Martinez, Mong Skillman and Tuyet Nguyen; sister Deo Thi; and nine grandchildren.
