James Leslie Carr, 75, of Wahiawa, an Army captain and Purple Heart recipient who served in the Vietnam War, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Sheridan, Wyo. He is survived by wife Larraine; daughters Rayne Jensen, Gerianne Medeiros and Sarah Tabije; brother John "Jack"; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
