Sonny Gonzaga Sr., 65, of Waipahu, a retired Boys & Girls Club athletic director and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Clara; sons Sonny Jr. and Justin; daughters Frances Murakami, Glenda Ing and Sonya Gonzaga; six hanai children; sisters Jo Frank and Jane Leonard; mother Adelina; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1408-A California Ave., Wahiawa. Mass: 9:30 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
