Anson Gregory "Slim" Ilae, 67, of Kailua, an Army specialist who served in the Vietnam War, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Arlene E.; sons Kalawe and Hoku Ilae and Brandon and Benton Wolff; daughters Darcy and Kahea; brother Moses "Koko" Ho; sisters Illona I. Honig, Illinois U. Rosario and Sandra M. Segovia; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Kailua. Mass: 11 a.m. Additional celebration of life: 4 p.m. Saturday at Olomana Golf Links, Waimanalo. Aloha attire.
