BENJAMINA MINA GATEB MELCHOR Age 85, of Waipahu, HI, passed away March 31, 2014 in Honolulu. Born February 10, 1929 in Nagtablaan, St. Lucia, Philippines. A retired cashier/ hostess with Kazama Enterprises, aka Kabuki Restaurants. Also a talented & passionate community seamstress. She is survived by sons, Jose Melchor, Jr. of OR, Al (Janet) Melchor, Ben Melchor, Claro (Robin) Melchor, Noel Melchor; daughter, Pearl Melchor of TX; 12 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; brother, Romeo Gateb of CA; sisters, Leonarda Gateb Lorenzana of Philippines, Laurentina Gateb Daluyen of Philippines, Edelma Bernales Gateb of Philippines, Evangeline Gateb Foster of WA. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 30) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Wake Service 6:30 p.m. Visitation also 9:30 a.m. Thursday (May 1) at St Elizabeth Catholic Church; (99-312 Moanalua Rd., Aiea) Mass 11:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
