Yasuyoshi Iwata, 93, of Honolulu, a retired cook and an Army veteran, died in Care Center of Hawaii. He was born in Waiakea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Sandra, son Michael Yonenaga, daughter Michelle Abordo-Albino, sisters Sumiye "Nora" Kimura and Fujie "Frances" Iwatani, and a grandchild. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
