ETHEL MATSUE DATE Ethel Matsue (Takami) Date of Honolulu, HI was born August 18, 1919 and passed away on April 15, 2014 at age 94. She was a retired secretary from the Department of Education and was an active member of the HGEA, Japanese Women's Society and 1399th Veterans Club. She is survived by her children; Calvin, Cary, Julie (Peter) Nakamura, Randall (Beverly) and daughter-in-law Charlene (wife of deceased son Russell). She is also survived by her sister Gladys Kadooka and five grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Visitation from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary; memorial service 11 a.m. Graveside inurnment to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
