79John Dudley Field, 88, of Honolulu, a retired executive at Hawaiian Tel and GTE, and a Navy veteran who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Virginia. He is survived by sons John D. Jr. and Peyton B., daughter Catharine L. Mason, brother Harry P. Jr. and eight grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. June 15 at Punahou School Chapel.
