74Betsy Masako Poentis, 87, of Pearl City, a retired payroll clerk at Fort Shafter, died in St. Francis Hospice West. She was born in Paia, Maui. She is survived by daughter Terry A. Gabonia, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
