DR. ERNEST DOC IWASAKI 81, a Kaneohe dentist passed away on April 18. He was born in Pahoa, on the Big Island. He attended the University of Hawaii, Ohio State University, and University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He is survived by sons Dr. David (Carolyn), Carl (Shelley), and daughters Laurel (Ted) Young and Ann (Douglas) Wee, sister Carol Ing, brother Donald, and 8 grandchildren. "Doc" was a lifelong athlete in body and spirit, an avid sports fan, and lived a healthy life. He always greeted you with a kind word, friendly handshake, and a smile. He lifted up those around him with his cheeriness and positive attitude. May he rest in peace. Visitation thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Diamond Head Mortuary.
