JAMES WALTER TEXEIRA, SR. Age 82, of Pearl City, HI, passed away April 14, 2014 in Pearl City. Born July 25, 1931 in Wailuku, Maui. He retired from Honolulu Airport as a air traffic controller, also a avid commercial pilot, and graduated from St. Anthony's Wailuku, Maui. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Nicole Pa. He is survived by wife, Emilia "Millie" Texeira; sons, James (Wainani) Texeira, Jr., Jaimie (Mehelani) Texeira; daughters, Debbie (Derek) Pa, Cindy Texeira; brother, Patrick (Linda) Texeira of Seattle; 7 grand- children; 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation 9:00 a.m. Thursday (May 8) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Program 10:00 a.m. Prayer Svc. 12:00 p.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
