IRENE SHIGEKO YAGI Age 83, of Honolulu, peacefully passed away on May 2. Irene (Kawasaki) was born and raised in Kapaa, Kauai. She retired from Okuhara Foods, Inc. Irene is survived by sons Darryl, Wade (Cathy), Warren and daughter Alison (Randy) Higa; cherished granddaughters, Melissa Higa, Rayna (Jared) Fujii and Courtni Yagi; beloved great-grandsons, Christian Yagi and Bronson Higa. Irene was also blessed with step- grandchildren Kanoe (Ronn) Naauao, Kanani (Jason) Naauao, Trevor (Tiffany) Okumura, Dristine (Kelsey) Okumura; great grandchildren Zade Naito, Zyler Naito, Zaron Makishima, Zaylee Naito, and Kyrie Okumura and sisters, Akiko Hatakeyama, Sharon (Jack) Gushiken and Shirley (Ken) Yonemura. Ex-husband Stanley Yagi and daughter, Colleen Kodama, preceded her in death. Services to be held on Monday, May 12 at Hosoi Mortuary. Visitation at 5:00 pm., memorial service at 6:00 pm. Casual attire. No flowers.
