Enoka Saleauau Lei'o "Pops" Ulu Sr., 61, of Kailua-Kona, a golf maintenance employee at Big Island Country Club, Konawaena High School employee and founding member and coach for Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Club, died at home. He was born in Vaitogi, Samoa. He is survived by wife Gwendolyn; sons Bill, Enoka Jr. and Iosefa Ulu, Puaita Pulotu and Sausia Ulu-Abraham; daughters Dorothy Ulu and Lehuanani Abraham; mother Taulafoga; sisters Tuiluga and Fualuga Ulu, and Italia Tiumalu; 29 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. May 17 at Wawaloli (OTEC) Beach Park.
