72Melania Ramos "Meling" Saplan, 85, of Naalehu, Hawaii, a macadamia nut harvester for MacNut Farms, died in Nakamaru Hale. She was born in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Philippines. She is survived by sons Recto, Danilo, Wilson and Dante; daughters Shirley Sorenson and Lily Tabbada; brothers Carlos, Rudy, Rogelio and Benjamin Ramos; sisters Mely Ramos and Maria Rosales; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Kona Outdoor Circle, 76-6280 Kuakini Highway, Kailua-Kona. Services: 10 a.m. Graveside services and burial: 9:30 a.m. May 17 at Naalehu County Cemetery. Casual attire.
