WILLIAM KAHALEWAI KA'AI SR. 85, of Aiea, HI passed away April 18, 2014. Born December 13, 1928 in Molokai, HI. Retired heavy equipment operator with Hawaiian Dredging & Construction, Oahu Construction and Ben Hayashi Ltd. He was a member with the Operating Engineers Local Union #3. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Anna Bertha; sons, William K. Ka'ai Jr. (Pua), Howard I. Ka'ai (Helen); daughter, Rochelle Ka'ai De Costa (Melvin); sisters, Lucille Naehu (Gordon), Blance Kaeka; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Gary W. Ka'ai. Visitation on Monday, May 19, 9:30am at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Services at 10:30am. Burial at 1:00pm. Casual attire.
