Bernardo "David" Benigno, 87, of Mililani, a retired Army master sergeant, died in Mililani. He was born in Parut, Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Griselda "Grace"; sons David, Van, Damian, Bernardo and Gabriel; daughters Anita "Gail" King, Lydia Auge, Bernadette Dicus and Jennifer Chetronie; brother Francisco; sister Romula "Roming" Dela Cruz; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Prayer services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at St. John Apostle & Evangelist Church, 95-370 Kuahelani Ave., Mililani. Mass: 9:30 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
