80Benjamin Comawas Mahilum, 82, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired soil science professor at the University of Hawaii and various universities in the Philippines, died at home. He was born in Calatrava, Negros Occidental, Philippines. He is survived by wife Paulita; sons David, Lyman, Jorge and Don; daughters Lourdes Nadala and Junever Mahilum-West; and 20 grandchildren.
