Abraham Leone Mahi, 85, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired maintenance supervisor for the state Department of Transportation Highways Division, kahu at Ke Ola Mau Loa Church and a retired Army sergeant, died in Waikoloa, Hawaii. He was born in Kapulena, Hawaii. He is survived by daughter Melissa Lindsey; son Mark; brothers Paul and Jacob; sisters Dinah Kaikuana, Elizabeth Halualani, Phoebe Hopfe and Katherine Mahi; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at the family residence in Kuhio Village, 64-1068 Kamanawa St., Waimea. Services: 5 p.m. Additional visitation: 7 a.m. May 31 at the residence. Services: 8 a.m. Burial to follow at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
