SCOTT KALANI BUSH 51, of Waimanalo, passed away in Kailua. He was born in San Francisco. He attended Punahou, class of 1981, graduated from the University of Puget Sound, then went on to receive his law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at U.H. He also spent a summer attending the Oxford Law School in England. For many years he practiced in the private sector including being a partner with the law firm of Reinwald O'Connor and Playdon (n.k.a. O'Connor Playdon & Guben). He then joined the government where he was a Deputy Attorney General with the State of Hawaii, working in the Public Safety, Hawaiian Homelands and Housing Division. He is survived by his loving wife Haunani K.M., father Charles E.S.M., and Brother Michael K. (Debbie). A graveside service will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park on May 31, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in Kaneohe. Casual/Aloha attire.
