81Betty Sam, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Chaminade University secretary, died in Kaiser Medical Center. She was born in Aurora, Ill. She is survived by husband Gordon K.F., son Stephen P. and brothers Jesse and Arthur "Art" Navarro. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
