Ronald Francis "Sam" Addington Sr., 78, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired construction worker and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Elizabeth "Betty"; sons Ronald, Plez, Samuel and Kalani; daughters Rhonda Brevig, Debra Pila, Marjorie Kealoha and Lisa Amimoto; sisters Rose Settle, Dorothy Evans, Doris Davis, Judy Enwright and Jeanine Best; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Graveside urn committal services: noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
