He is survived by son William Martinez; daughters Cynthia, Madeline, Elaina and Brenda-Lee Novida, and Diolinda Novida-Knowles; mother Beatrice Mendoza; brothers Steven, Alika, Felix, Victor, Ruben and Federico Mendoza; partner Deidre "Dee"; and 14 grandchildren.
