Frances Caroline Smith Wunschel Madrid, 90, of Kapaa, Kauai, a homemaker, died. She was born in Hanamaulu, Kauai. She is survived by sons Andrew, Timothy and Sammie Wunschel, and Mauro Madrid Jr.; daughters Helen Aki and Sandra Wunschel; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine's Church, Kapaa. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Private burial.
