ELEANOR K. HARADA 82, of Bethlehem Township, PA, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, in VNA of St. Luke's Hospice House. Born: June 20, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was a daughter of the late James and Kuni Takashima Kagawa. Personal: Her husband of 55 years, William A. Harada, MD, passed away March 26, 2010. Eleanor graduated from McKinley High School, Honolulu, HI, and the University of Hawaii, where she earned a BS degree. She enjoyed volunteering, connecting with people, quilting, sewing, crafts and crossword puzzles. Memberships: She had served on the Women's Board of Easton Hospital. Survivors: A son, Jonathan S. Harada, of Westerville, OH; three daughters, Heidi A. Harada and her husband Adam Shapiro, of Wellesley, MA, Carol Harada and her husband Gregory Bergere, of San Francisco, CA, and Laura Harada and her husband Tim O'Keefe, of Minneapolis, MN; a brother, George Kagawa and his wife Chris, of Sedona, AZ and three grandchildren, Thomas Harada, Samuel Harada and Malia Kramer-O'Keefe. Services: A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, June 21, in Country Meadows, 4025 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem.
