Also an avid gardener of flowers and plants. He is survived by wife, Frances Michiko Nakamura; sons, Gregg Tadashi (Verna) Nakamura, Mark Tyler (Wallyne) Nakamura; hanai-daughter, Dawna Rene' (Keith) Butala; brother, Tatsuo (Evelyn) Nakamura; grandchildren, Kimberlee, Brandon, Bryson, Kaylae, and Trestan Nakamura. Celebration of life 3:30 p.m. Saturday (June 21) at Aiea United Methodist Church; (99-101 Laulima St., Aiea) Service 5:00 p.m. Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday (June 23) at Mililani Memorial Park.
