C. Eugene "Gene" Conrad, 84, of Honolulu, a U.S. Forest Service director and an Air Force veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Oregon. He is survived by sons Mark S. and Brian H., daughter Anna Marie Allen and four grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to the Bishop Museum.
