Mike Y. Miura, 82, of Aiea, retired head highways design engineer for the state of Hawaii, former instructor at the University of Hawaii School of Engineering Continuing Education, and an employee for the California State Division of Highways, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy Public Works Pearl Harbor and Wilson Okamoto & Associates, and anArmy veteran, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Janet, sons Kurtis and Dr. Kyle, brother Christopher, sister June Morioka and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Committal services: 9:30 a.m. June 27 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
