Akio Tokita, 87, of Pearl City, a retired ironworker and an Army veteran, died in Pearl City. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by daughters Lael Kaopuiki, Bonny Hing and Heather Torres; brothers George and Sadamu; sisters Jessie Minagawa and Blanche Shigeyasu; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Memorial Park. Incorrect information published in an obituary Monday.
