Randal Alan Sylva, 62, of Kailua, a McCabe Hamilton & Renny stevedore and an Army veteran, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Louisville, Ky. He is survived by sons Kawailani D. "Kawai" and Kale K., companion Rachel Kamai and mother Patricia J. "Pat." Services: 11 a.m. Sunday at Kailua Beach Park pavilion near Lanikai Boat Ramp. Scattering of ashes: 2 p.m. Casual attire. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
