Richard Paul Saunders Jr., 73, of Kailua, a recruiter and an Air Force veteran, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Edwina J.; sons Richard P. III, Edward J., Robert A. and Anthony P.; brother Milton; sisters Dorothy Ae and Agnes Saunders; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary.
