72Verna Naomi Kato, 69, of Aiea, a retired Department of Defense accountant technician for the Army, died in Maluhia. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert; sons Ryan, Derek and Michael; mother Sallie F. Tokunaga; brother Theodore Tokunaga Jr.; sister Jeanie Kawamura; and three grandchildren.
