Frederick Philip Bartels, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaii structural ironworker and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by hanai son Dana K. Rich*ards, sister Genevieve M. A'ana and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary.
