ANNE HYDE RICE MONCRIEF Anne Hyde Rice Moncrief, of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away on June 29, 2014 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 71. Born in Lihue, Kauai on July 16, 1942. She was a chairman of Kauai Museum and a fellow of the National Tropical Botanical Gardens, loving Mother and sister. Preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Edith Rice Plews. She is survived by her daughters, Emmy (Michael) Copriviza, California; Juliet (Kuma) Moncrief, Big Island; Heather (Richard) Waters, Virginia; brother, John Plews, Honolulu; 4 grandchildren Anthony, Courtney, Katie & Lauren. Numerous Aunties & Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Lihue Cemetery Service at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kauai Museum and the National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Arrangements by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Koloa, Kauai.
