VIRGINIA H. TURNER Virginia left us to be with Jesus on June 28, 2014 at the age of 89. Born in New Albany, Ind., raised in Raleigh NC., she lived in Hawaii for 63 years. She had a life-long love of travel. After college, she worked in Japan for two years. She next traveled to Hawaii, where she fell in love with the islands and met her true love, Ralph Turner, on the beach at Waikiki. They married in 1951 and moved to Kailua where they had their only child, Cindy. Over the 57 years of their marriage, they traveled the world and had many exciting and wonderful adventures. She had a kind heart and a great sense of humor. She thanked Jesus for her blessings every day. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy, son-in-law Hugo, and grandchildren Emma and Edward. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Turner, who passed away on June 9, 2008. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
