Jack A. "Jackie" Moses Sr., 82, of Honomu, Hawaii, a retired heavy equipment operator for Mauna Kea Agribusiness and Hilo Coast Processing Co. and an Army National Guard veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by son Jack A. Jr.; daughters Etta Mae Palea, Joyce Kepoo and Jacqueline Liverett; brothers Joseph, John and Paul; sister Theresa Correa; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday. Prayer service: 11 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section.
