81Hideko Shimokawa, 87, of Honolulu, a retired state librarian, died in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in Kukaiau, Hawaii. She is survived by brother James and sister Atsuko Hasegawa. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Kalihi Union Church. Services: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment: 1:45 p.m. at Nuuanu Memorial Park. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Kalihi Union Church.
