78Jeffrey James "Jeff" Salonia, 67, of Kailua-Kona, a retired operating engineer and grade setter, died at home. He was born in Middletown, Conn. He is survived by wife Bonnie; sons Christopher, Andrew, Jeffrey Jr. and Thomas; daughter Rochelle Winston; mother Mary Rider; brothers Brian and Phillip; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
